DEFINITIONS

• Series completed in 4 games     “SWEEP”
• Total Goals = 19 or less             “TEENS”
• Total Goals = 20-29                   “TWENTIES”
• Total Goals = 30-39                   “THIRTIES”
• Total Goals = 40 or more           “FORTIES”

 SCORING POINTS  

Possible high scores in a single series:

NO SWEEP  1100 = Winner(100) + Games(100) + Goals(200)  + OT(700)

SWEEP 1000 = Winner(100) + Games(100) + Goals (200) + Sweep(200) + OT(400)

• You earn more points for predicting a sweep
• You earn more points for predicting a low scoring or high scoring series.
• You earn more points for predicting more overtime games.

SERIES WINNER

• Winner of series correct = 100

TOTAL GAMES

• WINNER correct and GAMES correct = 100
• SWEEP Bonus = WINNER correct and GAMES (4) = 200 
• WINNER wrong and GAMES (7) = 50
• WINNER wrong and GAMES (4,5,6) = 0

Your pick to win in 6 games actually loses in 6 games – you get zero points (you never had a chance to be right)

You call a 7 game series and your team loses in 7 games – you get 50 points  (you at least had a chance to be right)

TOTAL GOALS

• TWENTIES or THIRTIES correct = 100
• TEENS or FORTIES correct = 200

OVERTIME GAMES

• zero games = 100
• one game = 100
• two games  = 200
• three games = 300
• four games = 400
• five games = 500
• six games = 600
• seven games = 700
