Choirboys Hockey Club has completed its 37th season. And we closed it out with 21 skaters. RED took game #1 by a score of 5-1. WHITE closed out the season with a come from behind 5-4 victory in Game #2. Just like birdie on the 18th hole, a few late goals in the last game makes you believe the magic can still happen when September rolls around in five short months!

PLAYOFF SEGMENT: Our winner is LUKE BOWLES (39) who finishes 10 points clear of second place – even with an equipment violation. Great goaltending Luke!

OVERALL SEGMENT: He started strong and finished with a kick. A big tip of the Choirboys helmet to COLIN MACLELLAN (105 pts) Second Place REAL PHANEUF (97 pts) Third Place PAUL LEBLANC (91pts).

CHOIR PRACTICE: We had 24 at the bar. Not bad with 23 at the rink. A couple of injured reserve appearances from JASON MURRAY & GERRY LEBLANC helped us set a new attendance record at Pete’s Peanut Pub.

NHL PLAYOFF POOL: Top point getter among 2013-14 roster players will play for free next season.

• NHL regular season ends on Sunday April 13th.
• First Playoff game is Wednesday April 16th.

SEASON ENDER BENDER: We will try to get things done before people start to scatter as the weather gets nicer. We will build on the success of last year’s bash – hosted again by GERRY LEBLANC.
