We finished the Regular Season segment in style. With 18 skaters we played two fast paced games again. RED took the first game 5-3 and then finished it off with a 5-4 win in game #2. When our front runners COLIN MACLELLAN & KEVIN FRANCO both pulled WHITE in the draw with no bonus it was left for REAL PHANEUF  to draw RED with a bonus. When the horn sounded the trophy goes to REAL PHANEUF who takes the segment with 50 points – three points clear of DEAN PLOUFFE. 

Overall segment is suddenly much tighter – COLIN MACLELLAN’s  9-point lead on REAL PHANEUF is now down to 3 points with nine ice times left.

PLAYOFF SEGMENT: Next ice time marks the start of our  9-game Playoff Segment that takes us through to season end on April 7th. A new segment means everyone is reset to zero with an equal chance to win the Playoffs.

We had 12 players make the trek to Pete’s Peanut Pub to help Colin celebrate his near-win! Lots of good hearted ribbing but everyone agreed we have enjoyed some great ice times over the past month. Close games even when the lineups looked mismatched. And now the playoffs to take us out for the season. Last ice time is April 7th – to be followed by a season ender bender when the weather finally turns warmer. GERRY LEBLANC has kindly offered his ManCave for the festivities again. I can almost taste the steak now.
